The McLaren Speedtail, the car formerly known as BP23 and likely forever known as the spiritual successor to the F1.
The Speedtail is McLaren’s first ever Hyper-GT,most aerodynamic efficient car ever and the fastest McLaren to date.
McLaren worked so hardly to diminish drag and it's built around a bespoke carbonfibre monocoque that, in its lightest form, gives the car a dry weight of 1430kg, with its elongated rear end the Speedtail is 5137mm
long,549mm longer than the P1.
No other hypercar has the central driver seat which provides a perfect symmetrical view of the cabin.Inside the Speedtail there is room for three people. Yet, for the driver, the same interior feels like a single-seater cockpit.
Interior illumination is provided by LEDs integrated into the glass. While advanced electrochromic technology darkens the windscreen at the touch of a button which eliminates sun visors.
The Speedtail dashboard is clean and Pure,Almost every control is replicated by touch-sensitive, high-definition driver displays either side of the steering wheel. The Speedtail has no wing mirrors,Instead two discreet high-definition cameras glide out from the doors when ignition is activated.
The Hypercar features a petrol-electric hybrid drivetrain delivering 1036bhp.
The Speedtail is capable of 0-300kmph in 12.8sec.
Production will begin at the end of 2019, Only 106 will be produced and all are already reserved at £1.75million (US$2.275m).
