Third Generation BMW X6 Revealed

On the Exterior,the new X6 gets iconic kidney grille, angular headlights and X4 inspired rear section.The interior design is largely shared with X5 along with a new high definition digital display for instruments and infotainment.

X6 is now 26mm longer standing at 4935mm and has a wheelbase of 2975mm.Boot capacity remains 580 litres,which increases to 1530 litres with the 40/20/20 seats folded

The suspension of the X6 is based on the X5’s with double wishbones up front and a multilink set-up at the rear, together with the latest incarnation of BMW’s Dynamic Damper Control system as standard. Adaptive M Suspension Professional, which brings active roll bars and rear-wheel steering, is optional.

Petrol engine include a turbocharged 4.4-litre V8,523hp motor in M50i and a 3.0-litre inline six cylinder 335hp motor in xDrive40i.

Diesel options include a 3.0-litre V6 engine with 394hp in M50d and a 3.0-litre V6 with 261hp in xDrive30d.
