Mahindra second-gen Ssangyong Rexton, the Alturas has a ladder-frame chassis and measures 4,850mm in length, 1,960mm in width, 1,825mm in height and has a 2,865mm long wheelbase with ground clearance at 244mm.
Alturas is available comes in a 2WD variant and a top-spec 4WD trim.

Powering the Alturas G4 is a new 2.2-litre diesel engine by Ssangyong which churns out 180.5hp and 420Nm.

The SUV uses a 7-speed automatic gearbox sourced from Mercedes. 
The Alturas is also equipped with a shift-on-fly four-wheel drive system that can be operated via a round chrome knob situated behind the gear lever.

The Alturas G4 will be sold from Mahindra’s new World of SUVs showrooms.

Prices range from:
2WD variant - Rs 26.95 lakh.
4WD variant - Rs 29.95 lakh.
