Nokia 7.1 phone launched in India

HMD Global has launched the Nokia 7.1 in India, and it will go on sale in the country starting December 7. The successor to the Nokia 7 from last year, it has a new and modern design, a superior display, and improved camera hardware with dual Zeiss lenses.The Nokia 7.1 is priced at Rs 19,999.

The Nokia 7.1 follows in the footsteps of the recent Nokia 6.1 Plus and Nokia 5.1 Plus with a glossy glass-sandwich design. The device features a 6000 series aluminum frame, with 84% glass used across the board, which makes the Nokia 7.1 look gorgeous and tempting to pick up.

The Nokia 7.1 has an all-glass front and rear build with an aluminium chassis. The smartphone measures 149.7 x 71.18 x 9.14 mm and weighs in at 160 grams. The front of the smartphone accommodates a 5.84-inch LCD notch display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The display panel has a resolution of 2280 x 1080 px and a pixel density of 432 ppi. The smartphone also has Corning Glass 3 technology to protect against scratches. It runs on the latest Android 9.0 Pie operating system and is powered by a 3,060 mAh Li-Ion battery. The smartphone is kitted with the Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 CPU and Adreno 509 GPU.  For photography, the smartphone has a single 8 MP front-facing selfie camera and dual 12 MP + 5 MP rear cameras. It also records 2160p video at 30fps from the rear sensors. While the front sensor can shoot 1080p videos at 30fps.In terms of connectivity, the Nokia 7.1 supports dual 4G VoLTE, 802.11 ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port for charging and data syncing. For quickly and securely unlocking it, there is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Nokia 7.1 is offered in two colour options which are Gloss Midnight Blue and Gloss Steel. It is available in a single 4 GB RAM + 64 GB ROM variant which supports memory expandability of up to 400 GB via a microSD card.
